日前，教育部重新將卡爾加里大學列入到33個出國留學國家學校名單，為幫助自費出國留學人員正確選擇國外學習學校，加強對自費留學中介活動的監(jiān)管，引導自費留學中介機構與國外正規(guī)學校開展合作，教育部公布了33個我國公民主要留學國家1萬多所學校名單，基本涵蓋了我國公民主要留學目的地國的正規(guī)高等學校。多數學生都會通過此名單評價申請大學是否受認可。此次重新調整，卡爾加里大學專門在大學網站公布了此消息，具體如下：

China places U of C on list of accredited universities

This week, the University of Calgary was listed as an accredited university by The People’s Republic of China.

“The University of Calgary has a longstanding and mutually beneficial relationship with the Chinese community, both at home and abroad,” says Dr. Elizabeth Cannon, president. “We value the relationship, and look forward to developing even stronger connections and partnerships in the future.”

The listing is an important factor in the university’s ability to build research collaborations and offer scholarly opportunities to both students and faculty. It supports the university’s academic principle of excellence in research, scholarship and creative activity.

The university has 28 active agreements with 24 institutions and companies across China and more than 1,000 alumni living there. The more than 550 Chinese students on campus make up nearly one-quarter of the University of Calgary’s total international student population.
